Hail Kinak,
As I approached the famous city, the peak of Evolution Mountain grew on the horizon. I would have stopped to take in the majestic sight, but something caught by attention. An object seemed to be wandering around. I went in for a closer look. It was a Graveler. Yes, I though, I can clobber this guy, but then I saw around its neck was a collar. Drat, its owned, I thought, but why is it out here? I figured it must have been lost from its trainer, and I wanted to return it to its rightful owner. It looked very mad, and charged me. Prepare to meet your match, Graveler, I thought, but then remembered that its trainer might get mad if I injured it. Reluctantly, I threw out Mooky, my Mankey.
"Okay, Mooky, listen to me," I told him while we ran from the charging monster. "I want you to fight this thing, but do not injure it too badly. Its trainer might get mad." He looked at me with disappointment. It seemed he really wanted to do some serious beating.
We stopped our fleeing and faced our persuer. "Umm, quickly, use karate ch-" stopping myself in the middle of my own words, I reconsidered the situation. "Better make that scratch." He whined and swung his claws at the Graveler. They didn't even seem to phase the stone brute, who brutally countered with a devastating tackle. Mankey sailed through the air to my feet. As he lay there, I knelt down and said, "Okay, this time, try scratching him a little harder." He seemed to be getting fed up with me. He stood back up just in time to block another charge from the Graveler. This happened for a while. The Graveler would charge, Mooky would block it, and resist every urge in its body not to kick its butt.
He tried not to attack it, but the rock monster kept on provoking him. He tossed it over his shoulder, and it slammed into the ground. As it went to get back up, it pulled from the earth large boulders, which it hurled at Mooky. Each one was cleaved in half with one stroke of his hand.
The pig monkey seemed to be getting madder. The Graveler stopped hurling the rocks and began to stand very still, which we haven't seen it do ever since it had started its rampage. It seemed to be concentrating deeply since its eyes were closed. We were both clueless to what it was doing, but then its hands began to glow. My eyes widened. I knew it couldn't of been good, and I was right.
Its eyes swung open revealing a bright glow as the monster raised its radiant hands in the air letting out a fearsome roar. It crashed them into the ground sending cracks and upturned earth out in all directions. I was knocked to my feet from the trembling and looked to see if Mooky was alright. I didn't see him next to me, where he was when I last saw him. Then I heard a shriek from high in the sky. Mooky had leaped in the air avoiding the attack completely and now was coming back down to return the punishment it was taking for so long. I yelled to him to stop, but he ignored me.
The Graveler began to thicken its shell, but not soon enough. His foot struck the monster square. He let out furious combinations of fighting techniques relentlessly on the Graveler. With full force, the Mankey's hand broke though the hard stony armor of the Graveler in a finally blow to the head. The creature teetered a while before it fell face first to the ground.
"Mooky," I began to say. He looked at me with sorry eyes. "... Actually, that was pretty good. Nice job." Its sorrow quickly changed to puzzled. "Come on, this probably belongs to someone at Stone Town. Let's get it there," I told him. We both grabbed one of its arms and began to drag it. This didn't work to good. I forgot how much a rock Pokemon weighs. I just hoped the trainer wouldn't get madder at me for doing this, but I had no other choice. I pulled out one empty Pokeball. It would only temporarily, I told myself. It can't possibly hurt it. I sucked it up into the sphere. This is much easier.
We made to Stone Town pretty smoothly. Upon entering, I noticed a poster hang on a wall. It read: "Lost- Graveler. Please return to Kelly." There was a picture of a Graveler, which bore the familiar collar, and the owner's address. We can always go to the gym later, I thought, as followed the directions on the poster. I came to a rather nice looking house and knocked on the door. A young women, presumably Kelly, answered it.
"Yes, can I help you?" she questioned me while staring at me suspiciously.
"Uh, not really. I just found your Graveler," I explained to her while holding the Pokeball. "It was wearing its collar, so I figured it had to be yours." She squealed with delight.
"Is it okay?" she asked consernlingly while still bouncing with joy.
"Sort of. We had a little scuffle. It should be alright, though. Here it is," I said as I released the contents of the Pokeball, but the Graveler never came out. In its place was an unconscious Golem...
