Hail Kinak,
I walk from the Cerulean Gym with an indifferent look on my face. Concerned, Kelly, who was waiting for me, asked how the battle went. I give her a look and she could tell the out come. Since that gym is out of the way, it looked like I was heading back to Stone Town to settle some old business.
As we trekked with Cinder at our feet, something was spotted in the path. Kelly scoped it out and told me it was a wild Pikachu sleeping in the middle of the road.
"Pikachu? Daah!" I whined in disappointment. "I don't want to catch a Pikachu. Why does it have to get in my way?"
"Well, the rodent is rather popular. It could catch a pretty penny," Kelly pointed out.
"I like your lingo." Cinder knew the drill by now and was already running down to the electric mouse. His swift footsteps were unheard by the Pikachu, and he nailed a good sucker blow. It was tossed through the air spinning like mad. After it landed, it turned to see its attacker. They were about the same size, so it seemed like a fair match, and we all hate those.
The mouse's cheeks began to spark. I knew it was preparing an attack so I yelled to Eevee. With a quick kick, a cloud of dirt was slung into its eyes, detering its shock away from eevee but towards me. The bolt sizzled at feet which had just moved out of the way.
"You stupid rat! Get this guy, Cinder." He nodded and charged the yellow rat. As he drew nearer, he slowed down. The Pikachu was emitting some type of waves from its body which had slowed down Cinder. Struggling to move, the mouse spun and slapped eevee repetitively in the face with its tail. I had underestimated this one. It then began to charge a large ball of electricity on each of its cheeks. Eevee stood still, but oddly, did not look afraid at all. Then it hit me. He was playing dead.
Just as the charge was about to be released, Cinder sprung it to action. Hastingly, he began executing a combination of blows, kicks, and whips on the mouse. It was caught completely off guard. The charge slowly faded away until it disappeared all together. After it had taken enough damage, it simply fell over. Cinder then bite onto its tail and dragged it to my feet.
"Good boy, Cinder," I told him while I pet his head and dropped a Pokeball on the defeated Pikachu...
