This living turret flicks out swirls of deadly energy from its lashing tail. It does not aim these attacks but lets them fly where they may. It can make crossing a narrow corridor troublesome, but a quick stunning can allow safe passage. If the opprotunity is not taken, however, then it increases its rate of fire.

History:

Blaslug was the second foe truthfully created for Squish Pod, right after the initial enemy, Tentas. A recolored version of the first enemy did come between the two, but it was entirely changed into Drijle which took a long time. Blaslug has remained rather constant in its time. The most varied nature of it was its raging. Originally, all enemies were to have a berserk mode for when they were shot too many times. Blaslug tried several, including roaming from its seditary perch to unleashing a wave of Nega Energy at all angles.
