Encyclopedia Bimblesnaff: Crested Hound

An armored and energetic beast.

This savage beast incorporates a considerably large amount of metal into its diet, most all of which is integrated into its skeleton and bony projections. Its crest and armor plating are wholly natural growths resulting from this intake. The metal is used less for protection and more for its conductivity. The tips of its cranial crest are used to arc electrical currents. The creature then rams into an enemy or prey to deliver a duely shocking blow. After running a significant amount of current through its body, the metal structures superheat and glow white hot.

History:

Crested Hound was drawn but never had a distinctive placement in the grand scheme of things. Most "beasts" I create in Shadow Aura wind up being half Fire element, a trend that I don't know how it came into being. As it turned out, I never made a Shock variety, and so his elemental duality was solidified.
