Fruit Town's resident scientist and celebrated inventor. It was his genius that created the the Power Band and Power Cape. Since giving his young friend Sam super powers, he has acted as a mentor to him, keeping his identity safe while helping him harness his abilities. Dr. Orange, too, has his own secret identity: The Oooing Crusader.
While Super Strawberry has his own rogue's gallery, the doctor has picked up a few rivals of his own. Other scientists dispise him for getting all teh acknowledgement for hairbrained inventions that shouldn't work when he is a complete scatterbrain. Brainy Banana and Professor Pear are two of the jealous and bitter counterparts he has to deal with.
History:
Dr. Orange and Super Strawberry were not always the best of friends. At first, Dr. Orange was his archvillain. Over time, Dr. Orange's appearance changed to less bizarre and more friendly, leading ultimately to his face turn. He began with his rind peeled over his face, simulating scarring, but then that was replaced and he just had an angry face. That went away eventually as well. When the role nonsensically shifted, a new character was created out of the remains of the sinister Dr. Orange, Tangelo Terror. His appearance is identical to what Dr. Orange's ues to be.
Ever since there has been a Super Strawberry comic, Dr. Orange has been fighting on the heroes' side. Dr. Orange has appeared in every Super Strawberry comic. When he returned in Not Quite Heroes, his appearance was updated to include a pair of glasses to give him something to define his appearance in black and white.
"Ooo!" is the lovable catch phrase squealed by the doctor. It came from various garbage spoken while my brothers and I were joking around. When a high pitched, comical voice was had, inserting "Ooo!" before, after, or into their speech made them funnier.
