A galactic faring species, the race has no known world of origin. They are spread across the universe with no true dense population. Because they lack a central or core identity, they are generally welcomed by all sectors. With no alligences, they have no grudges, enemies, or friends of enemies to which can be associated with them.
The Ekar have a peculiar structure to their hands and feet. Their digits rest along the sides, folded, and can be extended outward a far distance. The stalk protruding from the back of their skulls is an extention of the spinal cord. This hypersensitive nerve cluster can detect a wide array of faint traces.
History:
Ekar were a dragged out creation. For years, they only existed in my mind's eye, most certainly due to their complicated anatomy. Their vision stayed the same, but it wasn't for nearly a decade until it was put adequately to paper. Still, the race lacked a name. They were just referred to as the "base race", the latter of which was just flipped to become their official name.
