Encyclopedia Bimblesnaff: Mad Ball

The high octane number-two ball in Surreal Land.

This speed demon of a motor mouth likes to set pace at blazing. The other balls have a hard time keeping up with is shifty behavior and antics. He places second fiddle to Ballzo, a position he earned solely to bump Ozllab down another peg. He complains about the reasons, but never to his boss.

History:

Mad Ball was created from an actual foam ball. It wasn't a name brand foam ball, but a generic, dollar store kind. Half yellow and half orange with a line pattern on it, it was looked at and seen to be a potential ball character.

Mad Ball appeared alongside Ballzo and Ozllab in the first Ballzo comic. He appeared regularly throughout the series. When the series was used as one of many legs for Not Quite Heroes, he was not seen unless the issue paid particular attention to Ballzo.
