Red Alpha I, or "Red" for short, was an attempt at restarting the life cycle in the postapocalypic (literal) future using alien cell structure as the basis. Through the best gene manipulation managable, a roughly human appearing figure was created, only with minor physical differences, vastly different physiological changes, and completely scarlet skin. Since more were expected in his synthetic lifeline, his series, alpha, was tattooed over his face while his number, I, was marked on his left arm. The experiment was studied extensively to find out why it was the only successful attempt but was raised as though human in case life did not return to the world. Once the soulless age ended, the enhanced abilities of the homoculus were honed as a weapon to defend the new human life in the chaotic time.

As a youth, Red took to reading, particularly the old folktales of heroic knights and vanquishing evil. When he was orphaned after his creators were ultimately destroyed by one of their tests, he took to the streets to defend his castle (city) with sword in hand (large pipe) on his mount (motorcycle). A benevolent spirit was moved by his plight and replaced his steel with T'Ralz Erag, Blood Drinker, the Crimson Edge.

History:

The oriignal Red Warrior was a buff, blonde man who rode a motorcycle and possessed regenerative abilities. He wore red spandex and white, spiked body armor. He was one of the earlier heroes of mine, but one of the least developed. Around Third Generation, he was retooled to be a red colored entity that wielded a blade, but the entire "weapon of destruction" storyline seemed played out and lame. However, at the dawning of End of Eternity, the whole science fiction/fantasy crossover seemed a perfect fit for the motif. He was given back the bike to be badass.
