Shifter is the joker of his crew, The Rebels, a street gang that took their anarchy to the big leagues in the ruleless future. He is a trickster and a born infiltrator. Shifter has the ability to alter his appearance to a broad range of possibilities. The Rebels prefer to have him working a job on the other side so that he is not messing with his teammates. No one knows anything true about him. He has given a million names and changes his appearance several times a day.

History:

Shifter was modeled after the generic, '80s punk image that was drilled into my head since youth. Spikes, mohawk, chains, and exaggerated features were what they were all about. The basic concept was applied to the later appearing Jork. His appearance has changed little over time, gaining only more accessories and a pointed nose over the years.
