Characters
The devious dungeon is full of dangerous denizen. Be on the look out for these usual suspects, some more than others. They are all out for your head! ... unless you are them. In that case, it's the player and not an enemy. Probably didn't need explained?
Squeaky Bogg is the reluctant hero who defaulted to save the day. Dash, bound, and spit through the red realm to get through and clear out the scarlet scourge's scheme.
Dia is a skybound, pink sentry favored by Red Regis. Despite its wings, it doesn't truly fly. Rather, it glides and flutters. After hitting the ground, it will spring back up to the height it was before. Slow moving and easy to spot, they aren't much to fret over.
Bumke is a blind, teal pudge who sprays shots through the skies. It hops about on its limbless body a few times and then blasts out a volley of energy. Its not too certain where its target may be, so it tries to cover a good area. Time your movements and attack right to avoid getting caught in a cluster.
Chalt crashes about at high speeds. This visored wedge may ram into a wall and be stunned, but more often than not, it's wise enough to brake before the collision. It uses this same intelligence when near a ledge, but it could still fly off it.
Kumbuat can be really annoying. The orange flier flutters about through the air in an unpredictable pattern, and its small size can make it a difficult target with some of the smaller attacks.
Slugoom is a hazard to be wary of. When this blue lump spots an approaching intruder, it sucks in air to swell up. Under this high pressure, it can rupture into a gooey explosion at any moment, sending sticking innards across the room. This won't do it in, however, as it can regrow after bursting until done in.
Lerpus is an odd, horned fellow who rolls about on a spherical foot. It tends to start in high areas and drops to the floor where it rockets back up to the area it was previously. When they attack as a pack, it can be tricky to dodge both the ones falling and rising.
Munch eats anything in sight. This chomping mouth soars through the air, back and forth, and chows down on anything stupid enough to get in its way. Other enemies, power-ups, and even breakable blocks all vanish if in its path.
Grim awakens from its slumber in a stony state. The drab demon is first found frozen in a block of stone. Attacking it with disturb its nap and lead it to seek revenge against the player. If possible, let their sleep go undisturbed.
Blode really blows. This green fan creates a stream of wind that knocks back the player and attacks. It can be difficult to get around, but try knocking it out to get through the path its blocking.
Zee attacks in swarms. Each of this striped balls is produced from a Zive, a banded hive. The drone simply buzzes out and arcs slowly upward. The real threat is the nest producing them, however, so aim to take it out instead.
Helm Head lifts and lowers while scooting about. Actually, this guy needs further fleshed out. He's sorta half-assed right now.
Clutch Bud is a fleshy bulb that trots about cute-like. Don't let its appearance lull you, though. When nearing a target, it squats down and lets a snapping mouth on a throny vine. Striking it will send away the threat but remobilize the source of the danger.
Dokie is a dizzy, yellow fellow who stumbles about aimlessly. Occasionally, it'll take a short hop into the air. For the most part, however, it's nothing to be concerned over.
Fuzz, as the name suggusts, is a cuddly furball who gleefully bounces about. While not much of a threat itself, the dangling ball on the end of its antenna can prove quite the nuissance as it can block attacks. Aim low or time your shots appropriately.
Aura is a slick, jewel encrusted being who hovers through the air. It surrounds itself in an array of energy rings. This can intercept attacks or damage the player, so they either need to be avoided or warily watched.
Gooper is difficult to spot. It may only appear to be a small green puddle on the floor, but when drawn near to, the vicious blob rears up and chases down its prey. Be careful where you tred as they can pop up anywhere.
Heart Knight is a pacifist who doesn't want to cause anyone harm. However, she still winds up getting in the way, especially with her wide shield. From that face, it deflects any attack made against it.
Squish Pod? Hey, youse guy, don't you have you're own game? Bah! Despite best efforts (which apparently consist of a brief stint of yelling somewhat harshly), the moon mollusk wormed his way into the game. Unlike Squeaky, he can't spring or jump off walls. He doesn't need to, however, as he can puff and hop mid-air. Otherwise, he uses all the same attacks.
Spunt is a slow, slumbering dinosaur. What he lacks in mobility he makes up for in defense. When squating, any oncoming attacks are blocked. However, he doesn't really exist in the game to a viable degree.
