The Shaping
Creation bound the shattered Havoc in seven shells of her body, preventing his release but not his deeds. Relentlessly, he tore into her form from high and low. Despite being unsuccessful in obtaining his freedom, he slowly gnawed at all that was unmade. Slowly, distinctions were made. Matter, spirit, and thought were disjoined. The elements and forces of the realm were crafted. Pure and absolute creations, they were the basis for all things to come. Although each one of the spheres began in the same manner, they fostered the transgression into elements diversely. With all of the pieces in place, it did not take long for life to rise on each of the globes. Thus, life was strewn from Havoc, for it arose from destruction and, therefore, was destruction. It was inherent to its birth and nature: the reshaping of matter to be made, the destruction of things to continue living, and the eventual destruction of itself. However, though doomed, life could both create and destroy freely, and, more often, it created, offsetting the balance from its father's favor, capable of bringing existence closer to order and further from chaos.
The Orbs
The Orbs measured eight in the heavens. The largest of these was Chorom, the Orb of Destruction. It was the unhindered wrath of Havoc and singed all the other globes with its burning light. All the other pieces of Havoc were ever slowly drawn back to his core, winding down to the doom of all unless each remnant was vanquished before he could be rejoined. Drawn by similar yearning, the seven remaining Orbs were drawn to one another, grouping around the largest of these spheres.
Idos
Idos, the Gray Orb, laid at the center of the assemblage. Its earth was drab and thick, rich in clay. The surface was covered with vast fields of marshland and quagmire. The dry points were few, found mostly in cragged highlands. All of the water was stagnant, with no rivers or streams. The only fresh water lied within a single, broad, central lake. Heavy rains frequented, keeping the air typically cold, too cool to ever be damp. When the sky was not obstruct, it bore a shade of orange. Few would know this since Idos received Chorom's rays the harshest. When nightfall lifted, most anything alive or able burst into flame under the deadly beams. All life took refuge beneath the surface of the world at daybreak, if not for life, within the extensive subterranean tunnels.
Vejah
Vejah, the Green Orb, was wrapped in a thick veil of gases. The amount of Chorom's wrath that seeped through only carried enough power to sprout a seemingly boundless amount of plant life. The soil was rich and dark, ripe for growing. No major bodies of water existed as it all either traveled through the numerous rivers tightly strewn across and beneath the surface or hung heavy in the warm, humid air. The sky reflected the life below it, casting a shimmering green to be envied by the other Orbs. Life was so undisturbed that many of the older growths lived to rise above the gaseous canopy, although none could arise any taller after that.
Zaese
Zaese, the Red Orb, was crafted from the strongest of the pieces cut from Havoc. His hate, burning strong, ripped many fractures throughout the seal Creation placed upon it. As a result, her hold over the world was barely maintained. The little ground not bathed in her molten blood was blacked with ash and soot, as was the sky. Water and weather could only be known during the rare scalding, acid storms. Streams of seething iron coursed sparsely throughout as well. Due to the bizarre conditions to which Zaese abided, all life forms spawned from its earth were twisted and anomalous when compared with that of another Orb. An upbringing so grating, any of its inhabitants could easily brave the light of day, assuming they could ever see it.
Obog
Obog, the White Orb, sparkled with the granules of various kinds of salt, not fine particles but a coarse grit. Hard and parched, the white, windswept planes had wealth in vast ore deposits of all kinds. It also exhibited many tall, crystalline structures that originated from sources too deep to be found, which rose beside grand and jagged stone formations. A thick fog hung ever present in air, stretching from heaven to soil, locking out Chorom more than desired, only allowing little of his light to pass. The cold, ruthless surface wrought no water but covered it, running deep within the belly of the Orb. Other means were available, such as ice and snow, which commonly fell from the blank, red sky. It was not generated in the heavens but merely became caught in the long travelling winds across the flat, shapeless grounds from the frozen ends of the Obog.
Wani
Wani, the Blue Orb, was entirely flooded with depths deeper than on any other Orb. The atmosphere was quite thin, baring the heavens though it, allowing all of Chorom's glance though, but this had no effect on the inhabitants, who made their home under the waves. The wonders that existed there go beyond where words and ink can go. The order of Wani from Idos varies with Vejah, Zaese and Obog. Their paths of orbit lay very close to one another and commonly cross.
Yntra
Yntra, the Black Orb, fell before any could learn of its ways. It was believed to once house a wonderful paradise free of trouble and pain. Lying furthest away from Idos, the Silver Orb, as it was rumored to be back then, was the smallest of the Orbs. As a result, the fragment of Havoc sealed within was the first to recover its strength. Utter chaos consumed the sphere and all was laid to waste. Neither the piece of Creation nor Havoc survived. The Orb gradually faded from being, leaving only a dark shadow visible against a starry night sky.
Uphka
Uphka, the Gold Orb, settled at the second furthest position from Idos. It, too, was of diminutive size and was scheduled for annihilation shortly after Yntra. However, the Lords of Uphka were wise, the wisest of all the Orbs, some say, and were prepared for such an event. Though the evil power within uproared, they prevented their Orb from falling. Before either of the entities could destroyed one another, the citizens of Uphka harnessed their energies for their own. No longer in need of Creation's power to live, they breathed a new life into their Orb, consisting solely of their raw power. Much like Yntra, much remained a mystery of Uphka and its people. Legends told that their Orb was reformed into a luscious paradise like one never before seen. The brilliant glow of its golden gleam through the night sky remained the only certainty about the Orb.
