Goblin Grotto Games
I've had this insane notion since a wee tyke to make a game. It started out poorly thought through and over time... little changed. I come up with ideas all the time, and they quickly surpass my abilities to be created. Some years ago, however, I actual gave it a shot to make something. That year was 2007, and I was an unemployed, recent college graduate. I didn't make any of my decades-old properties, but I still wung it. Wung? Winged? Nuts to it. Here's the fruit of those labors:
Kit Bit Fit
A crude platformer made as a joke -- the best of reasons!
Lick 'n' Lift
Scuttle around on a fiery descent, licking buttons in sequence.
An "original" game were one uses logic and deduction to locate where dangerous explosives lie hidden.
A puzzle-ish game with bright colors, fun shapes, and long chains of destruction. Those are popular, right?
Box Blaster 3-D
Channel beams down a shaft to blow up enemy boxes in a skill-based, endless shooter-of-sorts with increasing difficulty.
Retro Top-Down Adventurer
Guide a poorly drawn Squeaky Bogg through a poorly drawn map in this poorly constructed tribute.
Greater world scaffolding that allows an entity to move about a fully three-dimensional and change about views.
Squeaky Bogg Jammer JS
A re-creation of the game of the same name, but this type coded from scratch..
Squish Pod Trial
Currently little more than keying around a morphable Squish Pod on scenery.
Bumper cars in the black beyond! Six space shuttles cruise about and try to take out the others.
Leap and bound through a pastel world of boxes! And ... that's about it.
Card Game Simulations
I've made enough card game mock-ups where they deserve their own little section on this page. Play out -- sorta -- poorly thought out card games.
War Relic Card Game
A deck and card game simulator designed so I could play-test arrangements and possibilities without actually drawing up cards to go through the bother manually.
Rather than draw up a bunch of cards to prototype a card game, I thought it'd be easier to code up a quick mock-up of the game. After dabbling here and there over a week, this is the fruit of that effort. It's ... mildly interesting, I guess?
Bone Lords of the Plague War
A deck and card game simulator for a half-baked concept that was mostly done in jest to see if a legitimate cause could be for further development.
Alchemy - Draft Card Game
Combine magic components to build a better spell in this drafting card game simulation.
Hap-Hazard Card Game
Throw barrels of toxic waste at each other while wrangling up mutant abominations, yay! Less on mechanics and more on movin' everything yourself.
I dabble in coding more than just games; it's how you get the practice and know-how to make everything work to make a game. Here are some utilities that I've messed around with that probably only appeal to myself, much like the rest of this site.
Pokémon GO Calculators
Figure out all sorts of variables and odds with these nifty scripts. Learn optimum move sets, simulate battles, and find out the best way to train a gym.
Two armies of pudgy soldiers scuttle about and attack each other at random. There's nothing that you do but watch them kill one another. Yeah, it's not that great.
Gumdrop Knights Customizer
One of my game concepts involves colored factions with interchangeable parts. To test these many combinations, I made a script allowing the countless combinations to be inspected. Here is the result.
War Relics Customizer
The grown-up version of Gumdrop Knights also has it's own "make your own" version with far less options. Because I could, and I like seeing how things in an easy-to-do fashion.
Game Maker™ Games
Made using Game Forge's Game Maker program. Good tool, I'll tell you. I started out with these two properties, honestly, by complete accident. I wanted to do something simple and then graduate to one of my real games, but then these became my only real games. Funny how that happens.
Squeaky Bogg Jammer
A platformer with the loveable green gumdrop, Squeaky Bogg, running, dashing, and springing off walls in his attempt to seize back power from the vile Regis Red.
A reverse castle defense game (sorta!) where you raze and pillage fortified strongholds by crippling the castle's defenses and then marching at it with your army.
Guide the moon mollusk, Squish, through a treacherous maze of squirming sentries to topple the five Guardians. Use a multitude of special attacks and items to help you through it.
Squish Pod: Lunar Labyrinth
A pseudo-sequal to the original, this version features more shots, more bosses, and a never-the-same-twice dungeon randomizer. Still pretty crappy gameplay, tho'~!
Reality's End Games
Much like how Reality's End won't die of old age, neither will these related game pages.
Most likely the reason you're even here, according to traffic monitoring. The R.E. League Venom Gym lies behind that link.
Less popular than its pocket-inspired simulator, this is an Endless Night's Dream puzzle. That probably isn't that creative or challenging. Hence why it's down here.
